Mondays
It's not too late to join the UofL Run/Walk Group, which now meets several days a week starting on Mondays in preparation for the 2009 Triple Crown of Running, the Kentucky Derby Festival mini Marathon and Marathon, and UofL's Run for the L of It and Champions 4 Her (events in March and April). Sessions are in Crawford Gym Lower Level Room 17, Belknap Campus, 5:30 p.m. See a schedule or find out more.

"Meet the Professor" lunch and lecture, University Club, noon. Fine arts professor Karen Britt will discuss "Beyond Belief: The Creation of Sacred Space in Byzantine Palestine and Arabia." $14 (includes lunch).

UofL vs. Villanova pregame brunch and men's basketball game, Philadelphia. Come out for a 10 a.m. pregame brunch at McFadden's, One Citizens Bank Way, followed by the noon game in the Wachovia Center, located across the street from McFadden's. $15 for brunch (hosted bar); $25 for game tickets.

UofL vs. Villanova men's basketball game watch in Naples, Big Al's City Grill, 8004 Trail Blvd. Tip off at noon. Special guests President James Ramsey and Hall of Famer Denny Crum.

Third Annual Hoops and Hooves, Turfway Park Racetrack, 7500 Turfway Road, Florence, Ky., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Enjoy the UofL vs. Villanova basketball game watch at noon, followed by live horse racing at 1:10 p.m. $25 (includes a buffet lunch, racing program and a private room to watch the game), cash bar.

Daniel Pink will interview Malcolm Gladwell, author of "Blink" and "The Tipping Point."
