UofL, Angel’s Envy and Kroger Release Third Collaborative Single Barrel Bourbon Series at Oct. 22 Event

Limited-edition bottle continues Louisville partnership while supporting efforts to address food insecurity at UofL.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville, Angel’s Envy and Kroger are proud to announce the release of the third bottle in their collaborative bourbon series, celebrating a partnership that brings together three Louisville institutions committed to supporting the community and the University of Louisville.
The limited-edition release will be celebrated during a free public event from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Kroger store located at 12501 Shelbyville Road in Middletown. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase the exclusive bottle for $84.99, enter to win special prizes and support the university through donations to the Commonwealth Credit Union Cardinal Cupboard.
Adding to the experience, Angel’s Envy Master Distiller Owen Martin will attend the event to meet guests, sign bottles and engage with bourbon enthusiasts throughout the evening.

About the Bottle
The collaboration brings together three 110-proof single barrels, each with its own distinct aging profile. The selection includes Barrel No. SB-250408, aged for 10 months; Barrel No. SB-250833, aged for six months; and Barrel No. SB-250521, aged for nine months. Together, the barrels offer a unique opportunity to experience the character and complexity that develop through different aging periods.
Supporting the Cardinal Cupboard
The Cardinal Cupboard provides healthy food and essential resources to UofL students experiencing food insecurity. Guests attending the Oct. 22 event are encouraged to bring donations to help support the program and ensure students have access to nutritious food and necessary resources when they need them most.

- Canned proteins, including tuna and chicken
- Peanut butter and other nut butters
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Rice and other shelf-stable grains
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Macaroni and cheese
- Shelf-stable milk

- Personal hygiene products
