Each year, as part of the Homecoming celebration, the University of Louisville and Louisville Alumni honor and celebrate the exceptional and diverse achievements of our alumni.

Alum of the Year
An outstanding graduate who excels in their career, in service and in their support of the university.
Alumni Ambassador
Through dedicated service to the surrounding community, this individual helps spread pride and strengthens the university’s relationships with the community.
Emerging Leader
This award recognizes an alumnus(a) aged 40 or younger for remarkable professional success achieved at an early stage in their career or in their community.
Inclusive Excellence Award
This individual is committed to fostering connections across the university and community by nurturing and challenging an intellectual climate.
Military Alumni Award
This award honors an alumnus(a) who is a current member or veteran of the U.S. military, recognized for their exceptional contributions during their military service and/or in their post-service careers.
Alumni Fellow Awards
These awards honor alumni who have distinguished themselves through their professional accomplishments and unwavering dedication to their school or college.
